ONE STITCH AT A TIME - #215

Theme:  Boyish

Digi:  Spider

Very Creepy!
need I say more...
This was one heck of a project for me.
This little whipper snapper of a spider was soooo ugly and terrifying to me I can not for the life of me figure out why I chose him...other than to....
GROW, LEARN, TRANSFORM!
and
TO MEET MY NEW FRIEND
"Jane's Spider"

I decided to approach my fear of this guy by going vewy vewy slowly.  One creation at a time.  Eassssse into using the full kit, papers and spider from Coosty Creations.

So first, things I am comfortable with...
Mixed media
Color
Paint
Trinkets
and
Voila!

NEXT

something a little softer
Mr. Scarey Ass Spider still wasn't warming up to me nor me to him.

Get out the sprays
the drip inks
the cement
the caulking
and
Voila!

notice spider

AHHHHH!
I see something emerging
something kinda cute
maybe not a he
maybe a mommy
with a helmet
riding a comet
with her baby spidey's on her back
ahhhh and pink chompers (NOT fangs!!!) shhhhh

I am going to name spidey
"Jane's Spider"
feeling better already!

Yup.
I'm ready.
One
Two
Three
Voila
Introducing the most funky Spider
this side of the cosmos
that is on that side
of the earth
using
Tada
drumroll

HUH?

ONE STEP AT A TIME - #214

ONE STEP AT A TIME - #214

Theme: Anything Goes (YAY!)
Sponsor: Crafty Girl
Digi: Pear Doodle

Today is the beloved Anything Goes at OSAAT.  I've chosen Pear Doodle by Crafty Girl, which you can find over at Stitchy Bear's Digital Stamps.  I love doodling myself, so when I saw this pear, I just loved it.

I wasn't so sure what to do with it, so this came together while I had Netflix on in the background on my laptop, and over a period of about 4 hours.  I had no idea where I was going with it, other than I wanted green and yellow pears, and did not want to ruin sensational doodling with colors.

I hope you like it; it is a very untraditional type of conservative card for me...but it was calling my name tonight.

Now is the time to hop over to OSAAT -
to Play
to WIN
to be inspired!

Have fun!

So bop over to Ike's World Challenge, pick up the freebie and rock and roll with those crafts of yours!  See you on your blog after you enter the challenge, to give you some lovin'

PUNK YOU GIRL - #12 THINGS WITH WINGS

wouldn't it be great to fly!

PUNK YOU GIRL
THINGS WITH WINGS

Who thought it could be a Sweet!

Cupcake Fairy

This is week two of our Challenge.  For this one, I have picked Cupcake Fairy because I have a Daughter in Law who is the bestest cuppie cake maker in the entire Universe!

These made me think of Laura and they may just make their way to her kitchen, but with an alteration...plastic stands so they are reusable.

Come to PUNK YOU GIRL Challenge, if you have not already and let's see what'cha got!

This picture is at our Sobey's in their cupcake section.  I couldn't resist!

And this picture is with some Red Velvet Cuppies that I bought my son.  Ahem, he wasn't impressed when I gave them to him (he is 16) with these fairies in them!!! lol

Happy Cuppie Day!
